Hola! I’m Katherine, Director of Dignity Care for Life Ltd. I’m ​originally from Bolivia in the heart of South America and have lived ​and worked in the care sector since moving to the UK 7 years ago. I ​previously worked as a full time carer and loved bringing joy, ​warmth and support into the lives of those I cared for.

My latin spirit means I am naturally outgoing, sociable, empathetic ​and fun and I brought these qualities to each of my care visits to ​help brighten up the day of my clients.

I quickly realised that the demand for quality care in the area was far ​more than I could provide myself and so was inspired to create a ​community where I could connect those carers that shared the ​same care ethos as myself with those needing support.

How it Works

Dignity Care for Life Ltd is an introductory care agency for connecting people needing care ​with self-employed carers. We offer a local, personal touch to give you, as a client, complete ​choice and control over who your carer is.

Every carer that we work with has been interviewed and fully vetted by our recruitment team - ​they have had their DBS checked, have the right to work in the UK and we ensure they have ​the relevant insurance in place.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) recognises companies like Dignity Care for Life Ltd as an ​introductory agency pursuant to the Health & Social Care Act 2008.

Whether you require assistance with mobility, medication management, meal preparation, or ​more specialized care like dementia support, we will help you to find the exact type of care ​you need.

You can communicate directly with your carer, without having to rely on a third party to ​convey your needs and with the same carer every time, you can build a rapport and establish a ​consistent level of care.

We invoice you the client on behalf of the carer and charge carers an admin service fee. Our ​carers are self-employed, so no you don’t have employer obligations i.e. holiday pay, sick pay, ​National Insurance and pension for you to pay.

We handle all the administrative hassle on your behalf, taking care of the contracting, ​payments, and insurance so you don't have to worry about a thing. Our team is dedicated to ​providing exceptional support every step of the way, ensuring a smooth and stress-free ​experience. If any issues were to arise, we're here to quickly resolve them and provide the ​assistance you need.

How it Works

Dignity Care for Life Ltd is an introductory care agency for connecting people needing care with ​self-employed carers.

We provide several benefits to carers, including access to a large pool of clients, flexible working ​hours, good rates of pay and the opportunity to work independently without the need for a ​traditional care agency. In addition, we handle the invoicing, payments and contracting admin ​so you can focus on delivering high-quality care.

As a Carer introduced through Dignity Care for Life Ltd, you are considered self-employed. This ​means that you are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contributions. You are ​not an employee of Dignity Care for Life Ltd, but rather an independent contractor who ​provides care services to clients following our introduction.

As a Carer with Dignity Care for Life Ltd, you will be paid for your work on a weekly basis. You will ​be required to register your time through the Care App that we provide, and payments are ​typically processed within a week. If you have any worries or enquiries about the payment ​procedure, we are always ready to provide assistance.

Dignity Care for Life Ltd charges commission fees which are taken from the amount paid to you ​the Carer. This covers our running costs, provision of the Care App and invoicing and payment ​services. By accepting an introduction through Dignity Care for Life Ltd you agree that you will ​use the Care App provided by Dignity Care for Life Ltd to record all hours worked and for all ​invoicing with the introduced Client.
